Hockey Players

I grew up in a Hockey Family. My father was a hockey player and a coach, and both of my brothers were incredible hockey players. I chose the path as figure skater, and later as a coach for Olympic athletes.

It was just natural that I always had an eye on hockey. During my days as a figure skater, I trained with the Pro hockey players on and off the ice, and I always found new ideas on how to use agility to out-skate opponents.

While coaching Olympic figure skaters, hockey players and coaches from Switzerland, Sweden, Canada, Russia, and former Czechoslovakia were interested in my innovative approach.

My approach is to first work on solid technique. If you know how to properly use your edges, how to use bio mechanics to increase your power on and off the ice, you set already the base for exceptional agility, speed and power.

If you want to work on Power Skating as usual, I’m not the right coach for you. Hockey Players, Goalies, and Coaches who want to work with me have to be open to my innovative approach. In return, I transform them into exceptional athletes and coaches. Many of my athletes started out as average athletes and became later MVPs, top scorers, and Team Captains. Some of them received Awards and Honors.

Wayne Gretzky Hall of Fame CroppedThe athlete I respect most is Wayne Gretzky who I am blessed to know personally. I met him in his prime years in Edmonton, Canada.

Wayne was one of the hockey players who had to overcome many obstacles. His size was one of them. Did he let it become an obstacle to success? No, in contrary. His father and Wayne worked many hours after hockey practice to perfect Wayne’s skating skills. These endless hours made him the Champion and Hockey Legend he is today.
